Save Your Local

A campaign about COVID EIDL debt and the neighborhood places people don’t want to lose.

My approach

I wanted people to understand what COVID loans meant for a restaurant still paying one back. I wrote the page around a place you might eat, the people working there and a petition you could sign.

What it needed to do

A federal-loan issue is easy to talk about as numbers on a balance sheet. The campaign copy brings it back to the storefronts, jobs and gathering places people know.

The design decisions

What if your favorite restaurant closed?

There’s a restaurant behind the headline. The campaign name and the petition links are in red.

The language

Covid Loans are Closing Your Favorite Restaurant. Help Stop It.

Today let’s make one thing right.
